The future of 3D printing has shown that the perspective of the use of a development can change overtime. What was first created to be a gadget for hobbyists and people at home has changed to become a technology that can change the way we think. 3D printing has especially become a cutting edge technology in the world of health care. In the world of healthcare 3D printing is being tested and used in bionics as well as with organ creation. Organs are being created and currently awaiting clinical trials with the use of these new organs comes the idea patients will be able to heal faster and will not have a chance of organ rejection which makes them more favorable.

In other developments 3D printing is used in both environmental engineering and manufacturing. Airlines such as KLM are using recycled plastics which can be further 3D printed to create functional parts for airplanes. Other environmental projections see companies recreating coral using 3D printings to help bring back the reefs. In the field of manufacturing 3D printing has been used in construction to make basic houses and in the near future we can see a further expansion of this development. And like airlines use for 3D printed parts car manufacturers are also looking into printing as they use 3d printing to develop specified materials for their jobs.
